The 10th Lesson

This lecture is on “Typography & Visual Design”. In this lesson we are taught on the different types of “fonts” and “types of font faces”, and how it will affect one’s visual perspectives. Besides that, the “layout” of the text & illustrations are also a critical point to take note of.
For example, “San Serif” is a better one to use for text; because of its readability. As for the “layout”, avoid using more than 3 typefaces on a page, there should be prominent emphasis on the headlines, titles, and subheadings, so that one is able to figure out which is the body text from the headings easily.
Phew! What an enriching lesson for me!
Last but not least, we are taught how to use “grid layout” to better “illustrate” our design for the upcoming assignment (the last assignment). What is the last assignment? It’s, To design a Storybook for children, age between 6 to 9. This assignment will be due 3 weeks from now. Wow, this means that it’s a “major” assignment.
All the best for everyone! =)
